Education and legislative advocacy and policy around increased access to quality, full day pre-K for children in poverty, increased access to healthy foods, equity in educational opportunities, improved build environment, ACEs related advocacy.
I donate to CISS every year at Christmas with personal supplies. I would like to donate more throughout the year and also donate time.
Educate and take some of my clients to the juice company
Since January, every time I go to the grocery store I’ve purchased a floral bouquet or plant for a store employee
Listen, provide simple, effective solutions to food resources, sustainability issues, etc
Donate produce from my garden this summer
Continuing to work with refugee population during groups
I will reach out to people in the community who are in need
Volunteer more in my community
Smile and look at them (people in community) in the eye
The work I do I try and help those in need. I am able to provide resources and referrals—always listen to those who re in need. Everyone has a story!

Health literacy training: education to families to educate them how to care for their child at home and when to contact the nurse/Dr or emergency room.
